Maple Valley Turkey Trot: Thanksgiving Day 5K!

Join us for the Sixth Annual Maple Valley Turkey Trot 5K benefiting the Maple Valley Food Bank! The Maple Valley Turkey Trot is a fun walk or trot Thanksgiving Morning through Lake Wilderness Park organized with the intention of coming together as a community during the Thanksgiving holiday to help those in need. All proceeds raised will go to fund Maple Valley Food Bank Programs as we enter into our organization’s busiest season.

All ages are welcome!

• August 1st – September 30th: Early Turkey $30 registration (includes t-shirt)

• October 1st – November 1st: $40 registration (includes t-shirt)

• November 2nd and later: $40 registration (no t-shirt guaranteed)

• Kids in strollers are free, no registration necessary

• We encourage Thanksgiving costumes & accessories! T-shirts will can be picked up on race day or prior at our registration pick-up (Date and Location TBD).

Proceeds from the 5K will support the Maple Valley Food Bank’s life-changing food security and homelessness prevention programs that serve families in Maple Valley, Black Diamond, and the Tahoma School District. Email jon@maplevalleyfoodbank.org with questions.

Day-Of Schedule

Day-of race packet pick-up will begin at 7:30 AM on race day. The race will begin at the Beach House at Lake Wilderness Park promptly and 9:00, with awards taking place around 10:15.

Strollers, Dogs, and Water

We encourage the use of jogging strollers along the route of this family-friendly 5K. However, out of consideration for other participants, dogs will not be allowed on the course (with the exception of service dogs). We will have water stations along the course as well as water at the end of the race.
